There's a new Adventure Pack available for Disney Dreamlight Valley, called Honeyglow Woods. It's a paid expansion centered around Winnie the Pooh and his friends. I bought the Adventure Pack through the Nintendo eShop. You'll need the base game to play this expansion.

The start

There are certain quests you need to have already completed before you can start this adventure.

After that, you'll get a package in your mailbox! Inside is a young tree you need to plant somewhere in your Valley. Once planted, an enormous, adorable tree appears with a yellow portal. Naturally, you're meant to walk through the portal. Once through, you arrive in Honeyglow Woods. It's honestly all impossibly cute — the little hedgehogs scurrying around are just the best.

Your new biome consists of four new areas, one of which is accessible from the start. Drowsybloom Acre is your base — this is where the well is, your house, and what I'm pretty sure is Winnie the Pooh's house. First, you need to go find Winnie the Pooh. Guys, I genuinely spent five minutes on that xD Once I finally found him, he explained what happened: Winnie has lost his friends because of a strange fog that showed up out of nowhere. It's up to you to help him!
In the meantime I found and brought him a pot of honey. Now Winnie and I are playing a game of hide and seek — a bit of a cop-out, honestly, since you can actually see where Winnie is on the map. By completing various tasks and gathering materials, I've now crafted a beehive. I now need to place this beehive near flowers so the bees will come!

New items (so far)

How far am I into the Adventure Pack so far? Not very far yet, but from what I understand you can get through it fairly quickly. Either way, Honeyglow Woods brings a bunch of new items/materials and more along with it. So what can you expect?
When it comes to fish, there are three types: Acorn Snail, Plush Fish, and Sweet Jelly. If you fish just outside the ripple circles, you can catch Driftwood. Besides driftwood, you can find Oak Leaves under the trees, and another material is Soft Limestone.
There are some new flowers in particular: Thistle and Foxglove. Both come in various colors, with eight different flowers to collect in total.
New gemstones are Honey Agate and Shiny Honey Agate. As for ingredients you can find and grow: Golden Pattypan, Parsnip, Juniper Berry, Pufflebud Pods, Sweet Chestnut, Tree Resin (you'll need to dig for that one), and Truffle.
Big tip: collect absolutely everything you come across right away.

Chapter 2: About Thought, Fog and Light

I was fully hyped, because I had to gather ingredients to spray onto a lantern near a ridge. Without checking the map, I assumed I was about to unlock a whole new area. Nope. Turns out I now need to gather materials to repair the Thoughtful Spot. And that requires quite the list: Golden Honey x3, Tree Resin x15, Driftwood x12, Oak Leaves x10, and Soft Limestone. Uh, I do not have the patience for this. Right now it's mostly a waiting game for honey, since I haven't found a way to craft more beehives yet — so the only way to speed things up is by planting more flowers. I get a new pot every 10 minutes, and I need three in total. So for now, I'm just giving it time!

My first impression

Obviously I'm enthusiastic about Disney Dreamlight Valley in general, but not every expansion has landed for me. A Rift in Time, for example, felt like a lot of money for not all that much (fun) content. But I'll go ahead and say it: so far, Honeyglow Woods feels worth it. The design of the biome is genuinely spot on. The vibe is very Winnie the Pooh, and you actually have to put in a decent amount of effort to progress through the quests. You get plenty of new items, which let you cook new meals and craft new items. The little hedgehogs are impossibly cute, and I really love the bee mechanic.
