A new brand in my collection, but one that's actually been on my radar for a while. Lethal Cosmetics is a German brand born from the wish to be a fully cruelty free makeup brand while still offering striking eyeshadows and bold products. The brand is definitely focused on makeup, but they focus most of all on shrinking their footprint. They're a frontrunner when it comes to their CO2 footprint and minimal plastic use.
On top of that, they now have a really cool collection in collaboration with Avatar: the Last Airbender.

Avatar: the Last Airbender

Let me not be naive and assume everyone (most people) already knows what Avatar: the Last Airbender is. This Avatar has nothing to do with those tall blue aliens on a planet where humans (shockingly) want to mine resources. This Avatar is a kids' show that aired in the Netherlands on Nickelodeon. It follows the Avatar, Aang, who together with his friends (initially Sokka and Katara) travel the world to stop the tyranny of the Fire Nation. In this series, the four elements are central; air, water, earth and fire. Aang has to learn to master them all. Along the way, they naturally have all kinds of adventures and make new friends (and enemies).

Lethal Cosmetics: Aang Liner Set

On the packaging you see Aang. A young boy with a blue arrow on his head, holding his trusty glider in his hands. Aang is the last Airbender and has been given the responsibility of saving the world from the Fire Nation.
This set contains two eyeliners; a pastel matte and a multichrome. The eyeliners themselves weren't given names, which I personally find a bit odd. On the matte black part of the packaging are the icons representing the Air Nation, and the eyeliner itself sits in a clear tube. Lethal Cosmetics calls the matte eyeliner Periwinkle. After a bit of searching I found out it's actually the flower colour of a ground-cover plant.

The multichrome eyeliner has a peach/gold/green colour shift.

Toph Liner Set

Then, on this gorgeous green packaging, we have Toph. Toph is a blind girl from a well-off family who can bend earth. For her own reasons, she ends up travelling along with the trio to teach Aang earthbending.
This set contains shades I was really excited about. This set also includes a matte and a multichrome eyeliner. The matte eyeliner has a deep brown colour. I'd really love to wear this one for more neutral eye looks. Black is sometimes just a touch too 'harsh' then.
Then behold the gorgeous green multichrome. A deliciously rich, deep green that shifts to lime.

Lethal Cosmetics: Zuko Liner Set

By far the most beautiful eyeliner set in the entire Avatar collection. They also had a fully blue set, the Katara Liner Set. Except personally I found the shades, despite the different finishes, too similar to each other. On top of that I already own quite a few blue eyeliners. So it wasn't really an addition for me.
These two eyeliners from the Zuko set, though, were. Who's Zuko? Zuko is the son of the Fire Lord (tyrant), banished from the royal court. To restore his honour, he has to return with the Avatar, so Aang. Zuko can firebend and has a huge scar on his face, caused by his father.
Let's take a moment to appreciate the rich matte burgundy colour of the matte eyeliner. Yum, yum, yum.

And lastly, the My Cabbages! Makeup Sponge

Whenever they're in the Earth Kingdom's capital, pretty much every episode features the cabbage merchant. Except not because they're buying cabbages, but because somehow, every single time, his cart of cabbages ends up getting destroyed. It's one of those running jokes you catch onto and appreciate once you're a bit older.
