It's not a very well-known brand. Oden's Eye is from Sweden and, for example, isn't sold by the big retailers yet. Oden's Eye is an indie brand. The brand has been on my radar for a while now, because their artwork is genuinely fantastic and on top of that they also make really interesting palettes when it comes to colour. This year they released a holiday collection for the first time, and that was the best excuse for me to place an order.
I do want to mention right away that unfortunately the palettes have since sold out. It went really fast after I ordered the palettes, and after that it still took a while before I actually had them in hand to review.
Christmas Eve palette by Oden's Eye
Just look at this, what a picture. How beautifully they've done the graphic design. There's genuinely a lot of time and effort put into this. The Christmas vibe already starts the moment you look at the packaging. Especially since there are also shimmering lines on the packaging, truly gorgeous. The palette comes in a cardboard sleeve. On the back of the cardboard sleeve are all the ingredients, and on the palette itself are the colours. On the inside of the palette there's a round mirror, and the gorgeous graphic design continues there too.
Honestly, the colours do need to appeal to you. For me it was an instant hit because of the unusual shades of the matte colours, but the colour Gorgeous also makes me really happy. I'm really curious about the quality, but I almost feel it's a shame to ruin the eyeshadows...

Merry Christmas palette
A genuinely completely different vibe than the Christmas Eve palette. The Christmas Eve palette has a lot of colours with a cool undertone. The palette feels like fresh snow. This palette, on the other hand, feels like a warm evening by the fireplace, with candles burning everywhere and presents under the tree. The palette feels warm, and these are eyeshadows that mostly have a warm undertone. If I didn't want to use them so badly, these would be genuinely perfect palettes to gift for the holidays. Aren't you very adventurous with your eye looks? Then this palette will suit you better.

What's next
Black Friday is a blessing, but also a curse. So many things are priced incredibly attractively to finally go and buy. Except during Cyber Week the Hela palette from my favourite Youtuber goes on sale! So, there's a good chance Oden's Eye will make a comeback 😉
