I've been keeping an eye on MAC's limited editions for years now. Although I have to say I haven't been quite as enthusiastic the past five years as I used to be. Still, I recently bought makeup from the Wakanda theme, and I also ordered products from the Whitney Houston collection. I won't explain who Whitney Houston is, since I really hope you already know, and otherwise you can look it up.
Whitney Houston released several products in collaboration with MAC. I bought what I'd use the most, a lipstick and an always-gorgeous blush.

Powder Blush in the colour Nippy's Pink Rose

MAC's powder products always stay good. Want to invest in something good but not too daring? Then a blush, highlighter or bronzer from MAC is always a safe bet. So with little hesitation I ordered the Powder Blush in the colour Nippy's Pink Rose. The packaging is resin plastic and a nice shimmering gold. The lid is see-through, which I like, since you can see the colour clearly that way.
Unfortunately no swatch, since I didn't want to unnecessarily mess up the 'pan'. I genuinely find the effect of the signature pressed into the powder really cool. Nippy's Pink Rose is a pink blush, with a peach undertone and a golden shimmer.

Cremesheen lipstick in the colour Nippy's Moody Nude

It wasn't the colour I wanted. De Bijenkorf is currently a bit off when it comes to putting the right picture with the right coloured product. That was also the case with the blush above. The picture matched the one I now have, but the colour name didn't. So then it's a matter of waiting to see which one you actually get...
I would have loved to get Nippy's Rose, since that's a pink nude colour with a frost finish. Instead I got Nippy's Moody Nude in a cremesheen finish.
A cremesheen lipstick isn't as pigmented and leaves more of a haze of colour behind. It's still a lovely colour though, a warm brownish nude.
